Attorney General -Interpol Teken MoU Pursue Fugitive Abroad

Interpol and the Attorney General signed an agreement (Memorandum of Understanding) pursuit of fugitives who are abroad.

Head of International Relations Division Police Headquarters, Inspector General Sugeng Priyanto stated that this agreement fugitive ease of handling. Moreover, to be known, Interpol has a facility called the I-24/7.

"Today we MoU with the AGO to connect this technology. Thus our cooperation will be easier, more intense, this office has been able to access the facility 24/7 before," said Sugeng at the AGO, South Jakarta, Thursday (4/9 ).

Sugeng states, in addition to the Attorney General, the Police also already working with four other institutions ie the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Center for Financial Transaction Reporting and Analysis (INTRAC), and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).

"We hope this will be a wider network connected dengann other law enforcement agencies. All the info, the fugitive was there, including a red notice and other notice," pleaded Sugeng.

In the same place, Deputy Attorney General for Development (Jambin) Bambang Waluyo optimistic cooperation with Interpol can help chase fugitive abroad.
